At Wayqecha Biological Station my photography group followed a researcher to look for frogs and other smaller creatures in the steep slopes of the Peruvian cloud forest which, for the sake of justice, wasn’t cloudy at all that night!
I staid back and took some time to get this image of the forest silhouette, the amazing super duper night sky and the torches of the people finding their way in the thick thickness of the wet forest! They came out tired, with some good shots of frogs, spiders and insects and with “that smell” you’ll never forget once tried. They also found a yet-to-be-named frog belonging to the Genus Pristimantis.
That was quite memorable.
