Speaking at Nature Talks Photo Festival!

Hello everyone!

I just now wanted to inform you that I’ll be among the invited speakers at the Nature Talks Photo Festival this year. It will be a totally online event and ticket are available also as “on demand” (so not live, but still watchable after the festival is ended)

I’ll be speaking twice :

Saturday March 13 19:00 (CET, Amsterdam time)

– A masterclass to discuss the various techniques I currently use to shoot tiny subjects in their environment. Macro world is getting larger as new technology helps us to show the tiny marvels of undergrowth on another scale. It will not be solely about spiders of course, but I’ll cover different topics, including plants.
The event will include topics like:

– Best lenses to use;
– Why to use a certain lens depends on the subject and / or the situation;
– Best lights and illumination in various situations;
– A comparison of different results with examples from Emanuele’s stories.

– One photographic presentation about spiders and their world. This one has no timing, you can watch it if you have the ticket for Saturday 13 presentations. you can check the timetable schedule here

Sunday March 14 at 14:30 (CET, Amsterdam time)

– Questions & Answers session (will last around half hour). I’ll reply to whatever question the participants will pose me about photography, spiders, conservation and so on!
